Welcome to Oxted Hall Campus at City of Birmingham School. We are based in Erdington and work closely with other schools throughout Birmingham. Our campus offers KS3 provision for pupils from year 7 to year 9. We work closely with secondary schools supporting pupils in campus to return to a mainstream school setting that can cater for their needs. We offer a safe and engaging secondary school environment in which our young people are supported to thrive and achieve. We believe that children have the right to the best education in a nurturing and motivational environment whilst ensuring that they have access to high quality support and emotional nourishment.

The staff team at Oxted Hall Campus has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skills and all our pupils follow a full National Curriculum. Our pupils study the following subjects:

  • Art
  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • RE
  • Geography
  • History
  • PHSE
  • Life Skills
  • Computing

We have four form groups that are mixed age and ability. Each group has a form tutor and a teaching assistant. We also run a ‘Life skills’ programme with an aspect of it focusing on 'The Zones of Regulation'. The Zones of Regulation looks to focus on each pupil recognising their emotions, whilst developing strategies to self-regulate during times when they become dysregulated and emotionally troubled.

Pastoral Welfare

Within the campus we have access to onsite and external Pastoral Support which pupils can access. If a young person requires specific mentoring or Social and Emotional support this can be accessed via a range of referrals to support agencies and services.
