Millpool Campus

Millpool Campus went to the Pioneer Centre in Cleobury Mortimer for our residential.  We were lucky enough to have an amazing experience and we were all able to try new activities that stretched our window of tolerance.  We abseiled, rock climbed, went on the zip wire and giant swing, as well as those brave enough, jumped off the ginormous fan jump.  They all joined in with the activities and allowed the Pioneer staff to support them to get the most out of the experience.  The pupils stayed in a lodge and had to make their own beds and keep their rooms tidy.

The Pioneer staff said they would welcome us back anytime. Here are a few pictures that give you a taste of the fun we had.

Group feedback from your Pioneer Centre residential trip at Action Centres UK LTD:

Good afternoon Lyn,

Hope you are doing well.
I wanted to highlight how well the students did on your recent trip to the Pioneer Centre. They really pushed themselves on session and were supportive of their peers to help them achieve more. It was really encouraging to see their progression throughout the trip as their confidence and resilience grew with each activity.

As we discussed, being outside a classroom for the students is important to allow them to realise how much they can achieve in new scenarios and some challenging new activities!
They really did a brilliant job at trying all the activities and being engaged.

Best wishes,
Becky
